Citrix partners with different Unified Communications solutions to optimize their performance with XenApp and XenDesktop. Multi Zone Management
one of the new features of the 7.7 version of XenApp and XenDesktop is the ability to define "zones" in a website and items from the site to place in different zones

? A: Yes, actually 3.5 Storefront will be a great help here as well. You can keep XenApp 6.5 farm running, turn a new 7.8 / 2012R2 website and storefront use to aggregate the resources between the two environments. Once users start with storefront, you can seamlessly users from the existing farm to the new 7.8 site with minimal changes. be
Q. Can XenApp and XenDesktop 7.8 servers built in Azure
? A: Yes, there are actually several ways you use Azure. You can get your entire XenApp / XenDesktop environment in Azure host, here is a reference architecture, as to do just that. Q. Is there XenApp 7.8 require Windows Server 2016
A: No, XenApp 7.8 now supports Windows Server 2016 Tech Preview; Allen Furmanski blog and video-on server Read 2016 TP support. As for 7.8 server operating system support, supports 7.8 08R2 by 2012R2.
Q. today for XenApp 6.5 admins why we should not go with the latest version 7.8. Why should we go with 7.7 or 7.6

A: Yes. NetScaler Gateway support for Framehawk last year.
Q. What version has 7.7 + 7.8 improves the printing experience for users?
A. Although there is no explicit pressure are improvements in 7.7 and 7.8, the Universal Print Server significantly improved in version 7.6 introduced the printing results.
Q. With the exception of desktops with medical equipment and scanner interface, there is a greater demand for Thin Client healthcare. What is Citrix location for the use of thin clients with XenApp?

Q. Is Self-Service Password Reset for XA / XD 7.8 without Password Manager / Single Sign-On 5.0 is available? Or is this limited to XA 6.5?
A. SSPR is not on XenApp 6.5 and is technically a feature offered by Storefront 3.5 limited. It requires 6.5 Password Manager infrastructure to register new users. Password unlock and reset is achieved by storefront.
Q. Is self-service password support 2-factor as well, that is, unlocking / reset a token device and not just a user's password?
A. No, the unlock / reset functionality for user credentials only determined.
Q. How does the Profile management work with regional VDA? The home directories?
A. UPM has no dependence on the VDA. Home directories can be used to define the user store if you rather relative paths that absolute use those as described herein.
Q. I've heard in XenApp 7.8 SAML support. Does this help to get in for one-way trust from resource domain to domain Tenant about the need?
