Kill What?
Kill Switch is a feature that users can activate automatically "kill" or block their internet connection every time VyprVPN is offline. Except for network communications related to the execution of VyprVPN services, Kill will block all other Internet and network communications.
Kill Why use?
Some users connect to Internet without falsely activate their VPN. Sometimes they do not realize their VPN is offline. In both cases, users are unknowingly exposing their personal data. Kill Switch allows you to only connect to the Internet without VPN protection.
Customize the way you want to use Kill
We have made it easy to enable Kill at the application or based on your security preferences system
- Application Level -. Kill function when connected to VyprVPN and the running application. If VyprVPN is offline, Kill automatically blocks your Internet connection
- System Level -. Kill function when connected to VyprVPN, although the VyprVPN app does not work. You will not be able to access the Internet until you connect to VyprVPN
Note :. If you disconnect VyprVPN, Kill will not work on the App or at the system level.
Kill you can configure to allow or block the LAN traffic based on how much security you need.
