Boxee Box developed a great user interface and it comes pre-installed with support PPTP VPN, so you can use it with Hide My Ass! Pro VPN - ?! Fantastic new right
Instructions on the VPN configuration on Boxee Box
On your screen Home Boxee Box (shown below), press the menu button to access the main menu.
● then navigate to the gear and press Enter as shown below.
● Then go to "Network" and press Enter.
● A "VPN", enter the following information:
- Connection Type: PPTP
- server: enter one of the PPTP server IP addresses you see in the VPN control panel. You can find the PPTP server IP addresses with "Download & Setup"> "Connect software without - PPTP and L2TP"
- Account: Your account VPN username
- Password: your PPTP password, which you will find in the VPN control panel via "Download & Setup"> (not your HMA Pro account VPN password!) "software without connection - PPTP and L2TP
- encryption required: Must be enabled (checked)
Press" Connect. .. "and the integrated VPN software on the Boxee Box will attempt to connect to the VPN server.
the Boxee Box will notify you if the connection fails.
When the connection is successful, you will see "Disconnect ..." instead of "Connect ..."
now you know how to configure VPN on Boxee Box!
