For many years, there has been much debate about whether the right to privacy appears in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Although the Constitution does not explicitly mention the right to privacy, the Bill of Rights protects certain aspects of privacy. According to the Center for Democracy & Technology, rights of privacy against government intrusion are derived from 1 st , 3 e , 4 e , 5 e , 9 e and 14 e amendments.
