Warning: Can someone be spying on you from your mobile phone -

never heard of mobile Snoopware !? For those concerned, it is disconcerting and creates a sense of paranoia. I work with families who have found spyware on their mobile phones designed to watch their every move.

The hacker, they say, turned their mobile on and off, use the phone's camera to take pictures, and use the speaker as a bug. All year, I get emails from people who have experienced the same problems. It's scary!

Mobile operator networks are encrypted and are not likely to be spied on, but they have been cracked. WiFi, on the other hand, is extremely vulnerable

As I know, there are a few ways a cell phone can be spied on :.

  • cracks GPRS - [ connecting a 3G phone sometimes default pirate-General Packet Radio Service created (GPRS) if 3G is not available
  • Bluetooth recorders - If you pair a Bluetooth headset with a phone, the sound through the earpiece, as does a Bluetooth recorder sold by spy shops will. However, this often requires an attacker to have direct access to your mobile device
  • Spyware device in hand -. Snooping tools can monitor calls and texts. It is legal when the phone owner installs as a child telephone surveillance parent
  • Spyware remote installation -. Spyware does not require physical access to the device when a user clicks an infected link or device is not without a free secure wireless connection

Ways you can protect yourself against Cell Phone Eavesdropping

  • Use cracking encryption -. do not worry unless you are a top executive or government official; in this case, anyway, you probably have a device that has advanced encryption in hardware and software
  • Bluetooth -. Require a password to access your device and disable Bluetooth. As always, keep close to the unit
  • Spyware - .. Keep your device antivirus updates and beware of what links you click
  • WiFi hacks - using a VPN (Virtual private network) applications such as Hotspot Shield VPN for iPhone / iPad or Hotspot Shield VPN for Android.
